Kpop Convention II 2010

Last December 11, 2010 me and my friend Chen-chen went to the second Kpop Convention in the Philippines. You remember Chen during the Kfest last August? She's my Kpop partner in crime.. hahahaha.. Anyways.. The event is awesome! It was held in the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City at the CCP complex. It is a huge place that's why I thought it wouldn't be so packed but I underestimated the power of Filipino Kpop fans. There are more or like 5,000 fans gathered and mob the place, it was crazy!!

The gates opened at 10:00 am and we're still on the road that time but our friends who are already at the venue texted us that the line are getting longer and the people are starting to crowd. We already have an idea how the kpop fans crowd in the last Kpop Culture Fest so we're kinda prepared and besides the gate just opened so we expects that it will be much of a hustle if we went there on time. After arriving we went for a quick lunch since we knew that people are still lining up and we don't want to wait outside for a long time but sigh we're wrong. hahaha..

We went to the PICC forum after we ate our lunch and we'd expect that the line is that not long anymore coz it has been an hour since the gate was opened, but we are wrong, we are dead wrong. From the entrance of PICC forum 2; people are still lining up. The line even reached outside the gate of the PICC and I was like "Is this going to be forever?" coz the line seems not ending! But fortunately the looooooooooooong line of people are the "pre-reg" people, who registered online for a ticket and we didn't know that.. =.= We wasted a good amount of 45 minutes waiting in the line for the "pre-reg" people even though we're just "walk-in" guest. Thanks to the girl who asked us if the line we're at are the "walk-ins" until then we realized we really didn't asked, we just assumed. To our surprised the line of the walk-ins are the shortests, in just 10 minutes or so we already at the gate, if we stayed there at the pre-reg line, I think it'll take us an hour to be on the entrance.. LOOLL.. Lesson learned. Always ask what line you are lining too, it saves time.

One of the things we enjoyed doing in the convention aside from window shopping and watching the perfs is collecting stamps from all the FC booths around.

Actually Chen did all the hard work for me.. LOL Almost all the booths who asked me to dance to get some stamps from them she did the dance for me except Big Bang's and Rain coz they're my biases.. LOL.. ^^ She's awesome like that!.. hahaha.. We had so much fun collecting all of the stamps. Some of them asked questions about the artists, some made us play jack-n- poy while others made us roll dices.. In short, it was the most enjoyable part of the convention and it kept us busy all day long. Actually it wasn't until 5:00pm till we had a chance to play at the Super Junior's booth coz it was packed with people since that start of the day.

The reason why we need to collects stamps is for a raffle draw to win Super Show tickets, CDs & DVDs, or Gift bags and Gift certificates but unfortunately, although we collected all the stamps, we don't know where to drop the stubs so we ended up not joining the raffle.. *sigh* But yeah, the main reason why we collect stamps is to challenge our selves (we call it "amazing race") and not to win something really.. but.. *sigh* winning is not bad either though.. hahaha...

One more thing 'till I stop talking. It was never expected, actually we're trying to avoid it but we fail.. LOL

er.. yeah.. uhm.. uhu uhu.. yeah..

I got interviewed by Sir JC Cuadrado from Flippish.com about the Kpop con and something something. It was not a first but we're busy collecting stamps.. LOOLL.. I really don't know if I answered his questions right or if I made sense but yeah... my focus is to collect more stamps.. : )
