It's my birth month and that's why it is my most favorite month of the year but that's not we're talking about today (besides who does want to listening to fifteen tracks of happy birthday songs?) . In some parts of the world they are celebrating National Grandparents Month in honor of our beloved grandpops and grandmas. The only group of people that tolerates our never ending cries and protects us from the ranging fury of our parents, not to mention they also give us extra cash behind our parents' back.  If they're still with you, go give 'em a big HUG for me! Hello and good day! It's Sunday the 21st of August and the Philippines is celebrating Buwan ng Wika:  a month long celebration of the Filipino language and it's many forms. Many argue that the Filipino music or much popularly known as OPM (Original Pilipino Music) is quite dead in recent years, with the influx of foreign artists like the ever popular Western music and the internet-backed Hallyu ( 한류)  Wave coming in the archipelago it is not surprising to assume that the music of the Filipinos are already underground. To battle that argument, here are my 15 favorite OPM songs of recent years. Raging from songs that were popular back when I was in highschool to the songs currently playing on the radio right now and braving the airwaves against foreign invaders (just like what our ancestors did).

The time where students all around the country are buried under tons of books and notes they've taken from the past 2 months of the semester. And a better way to help you concentrate more in your studies is to listen to stimulating music that can help you eliminate any distractions around. After a long while, here I am again, back at my blog that I've neglected for 3 years. It'll be a struggle to blog about the things I've experienced for the last 3 years of my life since I entered Med School. All I can say is: it WAS and IS an exciting as well as a very nerve-racking experience. And I'm not even halfway where I wanted my Medical career to be. So, anyways, what pushed me to do blogging again after a long while ?

Life do really know how to play the game well.  A couple of months ago I posted something that is quite positive about my doubts in entering THE med school.  That blog really removed my doubts in entering one but alas! Life really do have some surprises up on its sleeves.

You know when in times of doubt God sends his angels to guide you on your way. You should just make your eyes open for you to see the path they've made for you.

Do you still remember those jitters that you had when you’re just graduating from high school? The uncertainty of the future and the oblivion of it all?? Well, I can’t believe myself either when I started feeling all those things again at this time, this age, this moment. For me, life only has two choices and when you have chosen one another 2 choices will show up. It’s a never ending choosing process really. *sigh*

YES! BABY! I was here!! Hi!... It's been eons since I last posted something in here ey?.. Funny that I posted a promise that I'll try to post as many as I can in this blog now that I'm not in school. But look! It's almost been a year since I last posted something with sense in hear. Hahahaha!!  I'm not saying what I'm posting now is with sense, but you get my point. So, 'nyways, let's start with this.

Have you ever experienced climbing up a stair case without knowing why? Have you ever tripped on a staircase that you've been using since the beginning of your life? Did you ever experienced a life changing conversation while climbing up or down the stair case? Have you ever seen a staircase that will lead you to nothingness? Since the beginning of time, stairs have been a symbol of power and grandeur. It helped mankind climbed steep slopes and built high terraces than any other machines man had ever invented. But have you noticed some life's lessons the simple stair teaches you? Have you ever tried talking to a stair before? Did it answered back? Did it respond? I hope not! That'll be scary!

Three months is not a short time for my heart to forget the good times, hardships and dramas that we've been through. You've been that special place I go to everyday that teaches me a lot of lessons about life. You've been my home. My safety. My sanctuary. You really do have a special place in my heart. Oh dear Bucal. With her unpaved road and allergic prone environment. With infestation of dog poop and cow dong. Mind blowing entrance regulations and strikingly dark streets. There's no place like home in Bucal, Greenfields.

It's not quite rare for me to take some inspiration from someone, something, somewhere or even some events for me to continue my life and live it to the fullest. You know? When life really frowns at you and you didn't even know why? You feel like, meeehhh sorry world but I think it's time to give up but then this silly music just played from your playlist randomly and you even didn't know it was there until it just played itself. For the past few months after the painful board exams I've been in a world of abyss searching for light and some clarity. Everything's quite blur to me back then. It's like I'm having no purpose. I didn't have a job back then which I think is the main reason why I think that I'm purposeless. Anyways, I was listening my ass out of boredom in my room when this song suddenly played.

Even sometimes random thoughts that I could get some wisdom in life slip through my brain in different situations or even unrelated circumstances in my everyday life, just like today, as I was cleaning our bathrooms these specs of wisdom from my brain slip in. I hope you could find even a simple wisdom that could help you through your life's crumples.. 1. I like Scratch Papers I like how scratch papers gives me an impression that it's ok to make mistakes in life coz eventually these mistakes will take you to that answer you've been looking for. 2. Pens are Permanent Pens are like words we utter. No matter what they meant they are permanent. No matter how we try to erase it with words it will only blot everything up. Be careful what words comes out from you coz you don't know what sword it carries. 3. People Should Be Like Water Water is a very powerful and a humble element. People should be like water. Humble enough to take the shape of it'...

I finally got my self serious for a little while this day. I've finally passed my very first resume in a pre-reg event job fair this coming August and I've finally decided to print my updated resume for the job fair this July 13 in Robinson's Place Pala-pala. *sigh* I know searching for a job is tiring and all that's why I picked searching jobs online but it seems more tiring than the actual walk in thingy... *sigh* It's not just click-and-go thing coz you need to read, assess, and re-read the job description and read between the lines of each of job openings there is coz somehow some of them can be scams which I don't want to get entangled with. hahahaha.. XD MICO IS NOW READY TO GO!!

cr this-is-the-life2905@devianart Since I've been absent for like a month and there's no update here in my blog since May, I think I need to catch up with myself. I dunno where to start coz there are tons of happenings in my life for the past 2 months and I myself couldn't describe them in words really. It's already been a week since I've finished my NLE. MY GAH! It is the mother of all mind twisting exams that I've ever took!! You know the feeling that you've studied that subject for almost 4 years of your life and then they'll give you questions that are out of this world!!?!?! >_< anyways, that's my initial reaction when I received the exam sheet. The result will be out next month or the month after that, PRAY FOR ME PLEASE!!

Dear Mom, Hey, Mom! Happy Mother's Day! I know you wouldn't read this coz you hate reading something over the internet coz it gives you eyestrain and technology is your worst enemy in life that's the reason why I wrote this one here. Maybe I still don't have the courage to tell you everything I had written here coz you'll probably misinterpret them as you always do so I feel safer this way but just in case you stumble upon this one since you're been using facebook more often, well, I hope you wont get mad.

Hey! I'm back! If you're in college you'll probably noticed that it's way different than your life back in high school and somehow you want it back. In my case? Before, I want it back but then I've noticed that my high school life is coming back in my college era. Actually I'm done with college just last month and here I am like a HS student waiting for his college entrance exam to meet him in a deathly duel inside a confined four walled enclosure. I have only 74 days 'till my NLE which will determine the course of my life from that day on. I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm fine and deliberately assessing myself if I could pass when in reality I'm in a hole trapped with great amounts of anxiety showering over me.
